audio help - new headunit

just got an aftermarket headunit fitted in my stilo but when the ignition goes off the stereo stays on :S anyone know why it does this, was there a wire out of place or is it a common problem? - its a kenwood headunit

also whats the cable with the blue plug at the end for behind the headunit, is it what connects to the dash screen? if so anyway i can connect it have this feature? thanks

Re: audio help - new headunit

because there is no ignition feed in the stilo. so the stereo doesnt know when the keys being switched on or off. and that blue wire is likely to be a remote feed for pre outs, it has no communication to the dash screen which was controlled by the multicoloured plug that is no longer connected and only works with the original one sorry to say

Re: audio help - new headunit

lmao, you have to be a bit more confident than that now.
theres no real chopping of wiring there. actually theres none at all. you simply push it in and hold it there with a bit of insulation tape. and connect it it to the stereo via the bullet connectors. simple and very worth it
