| Fitting Nokia CK 7W Bluetooth Car Kit I’ve bought a Nokia CK 7W Bluetooth handsfree car kit. I have the instructions etc, however I was wondering if anyone has fitted one of these (or a similar one) and could provide advice on: Where is the best place to locate the control unit / microphone / answer button and loudspeaker (I’m not going to wire it through the stereo as I don’t have the security code and the dealer doesn’t seem to be able to get it). Where did you take the 12V live from? Car electrics are not my strongest point and I don’t want to break any trim pulling the wrong bits apart, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

| *custom name* | Re: Fitting Nokia CK 7W Bluetooth Car Kit ive unfitted about 20 of these in my time, lol never actually fitted one, lmao but.... control unit: put it behind upper glovebox which you can get at from behind the stereo or take it out (onli two screws) to give you loads of room to work michrophone: put it at the top of the drivers a pillar, do this buy pulling door rubber out it and tucking wire in there and careful when clipping mich in, theres an airbag there answer button: put between stereo and steering wheel, thats wee pocket is very easily removable (just pull) allowing you to tuck the wire in there to go 2 control box 12V live: from these kits ive uninstalled the live and ignition have been obtained from the fusebox. and earth close to there too

| Re: Fitting Nokia CK 7W Bluetooth Car Kit Hi j0nny, Many thanks for your quick reply….. I appreciate your professional advice. Sounds like a good idea to put the control unit behind the glovebox. Hopefully the weather will be good at the weekend and I can have a go installing it. Thanks again!

| Re: Fitting Nokia CK 7W Bluetooth Car Kit I have installed the same CK in my Stilo, but not aftermarket, bought a model who's came pre-installed. The rotary control it`s in the lighter console, the microphone it's mounted above the rearview mirror, the main unit is in the back part of one of the center pannels (the right pannel of the center console, just at left to the foots of the passenger, near the A/C lower vent), and the speakers was driven to the OEM Visteon radio. If you don`t installeld yet, hope this helps. ![]()
