Injectors

Can anyone tell me how I can remove the injectors from my Stilo? I am going to get a test carried out on them but the guy needs them out to run the diagnostics...

I wont be doing it myself - my bro is good with cars but hasnt a clue about the stilo...

Cheers

Re: Injectors

Which engine? They're all pretty dire to remove especially just for "diagnostics". What kind of diagnostics did you have in mind? You can check almost everything you'd need whilst they're still in situ. I'd only take them out if I really had to i.e. if they were blocked, faulty, seized or a suspect bad spray pattern

Cool Re: Injectors

If its a 1.6 they live quietly under the intet manifold on the front of the engine ..and a right pain to get to .. quite a strip down ..good thing is if its a 1.6 and you need some injectors I have two new ones here that I never used going cheap have you seen the price of new ones

Re: Injectors

Its a 1.6 engine. We suspect a problem with the spray and the guy who can fix them only works with the parts themselves, so they have to be taken out - even if I am going to replace them I still need to remove them.
