Hello everybody
I am new to this site but it looks like a good one so here is the first of many questions. Oxygen sensors i fear mine is on its way out lumpy tickover, high oil comsumption, poor mpg etc etc. does anyone have any info on them?
I have a 1.6 stilo dynamic 3 door 2002, i dont know if its a POST CAT 4 WIRE PLANAR or PRE CAT sensor. Does anybody know a good site to buy one, so far i have found these /www.onlineautomotive.co.uk who sell for £55
Thanks to anyone who can help.

nice one lads, i have had the fault codes read but i dont have the with me. I will post them when i get them off of the machine an auto xray 6000

Lambda sensor shouldn't affect oil consumption, just fuel consumption/engine running. I would hazard a guess that if your engine is passing oil, the your lambda sensor will be reading wrong. Try a compression test.

cheers
will look into oil problem, engine fault light comes on when oil gets low, I thought the lambda sensor was due for a change as I thought they only lasted around 50000 miles and the engine is experienceing drivability problems, maybe caused by an overly rich fuel condition? Poor fuel economy, elevated CO and HC emissions (only just passed mot), poor idle, and hesitation during acceleration are the main complaints.
