(T) Aircon.

Hey guys. As from my last post some nob painted over my aircon button so i didnt notice it so i kind of cleaned of the paint and the button is there. any way when i press the button theres a slight noise from the Vents any ideas why this doesnt work. or whats causing it.

Could be something as simple as it needs regassing..........could be more serious though?

On the 1.6 the pipes hava habbit of braking and a new revised one was made for the car ..so out you go and see if thats the problem before you spend your hard earned on getting it gassed up ..

I had a feeling there had been a problem with the pipes, but couldnt decide whether that was fact or whether i was muddling it up with my smart that went through about 3 aircon pipes in 10 months

it's quite easy to see the broken pipe.

If you take off the drivers side wheel and remove the wheel arch cover there may be a pipe just hanging off.

if everything looks fine then get an aircon specialist to regass the system and they can detect if ther's any leaks.
