Ansa Exhausts

Just to let you guys know, Ansa do a range of sports exhausts for the Stilo. I priced a back box with twin pipes for my Abarth and was quoted £138 inc VAT and fitting. It's a direct fit so there's no cutting or welding needed.

Where do I find this company? And does it fit over the back lip or do you need to cut a hole.

Also is it stainless steel? I was told by Fiat that the Abarths was..

Cheers

Ansa are an exhaust manufacturer and distribute through local exhaust centres. I just happened to be in a local tyre/exhaust centre and they had a couple on display and I queried whether they did them for the Stilo. I would suggest trying some of your local independant exhaust centres to see if any of them stock Ansa. I assume the pipes fit in below the rear bumper as I was told there is no cutting needed, and I'm not sure if it's stainless steel but I assume it probably is. Sorry I can't be of more help as it was just a passing query at the time but if I can find out more I'll let you know.

Ok I've checked this out, the exhaust is NOT stainless steel, only the tailpipes are. The guy I spoke to wasn't sure whether there is a two or three year guarantee but assured me it was at least two years. If the Fiat exhaust is stainless steel then it may be better to leave it a while before changing even though the standard exhaust looks naff. It is tempting though!

By the way Ansa are an Italian firm and supply Ferrari and some of the other big names.

All,

I'm having a Long Life Stainless steel exhaust fitting on Saturday, it will look really cool on the car.

Total cost for back box and tail pipe £200 but remember it's guaranteed for life.

You can also the pick the kind of sound you want! [8D]

Sounds good. Is this a specialist outfit? I assume the new exhaust will fit without any cutting.

Yep specialist outfit will get the old box back as well. They are hand made to measure!

Can't wait until tomorrow. Will post a pic.

My expirience of past Ansa exhausts has been bad they rot very quickly and easily.
