Speedo fascia Help!!!

Gd afternoon all! I have just spent half the morning trying to figure out how to seperate the plastic perspex that covers the speedomitor from the clock housing as im looking to inset a aluminum fascia on the surround around the dials. After chipping the corner of the perpex, cutting my hands and a few swear words later i still am no futher forward, does any one know how this can be done or even at all can it be done? off now to get some super glue and a valentines pressie or ill never see tomorrow any suggestion at all just reply...please!!

Ha! yeah, but she wont know when i got it..well i hope not!! thought i might of hit a brick wall with this fascia. Was living in hope that someone maybe worked for fiat and knew if it could be seperated and how to do it! well see its going i for a service on fri might just ask a few questions

I can remember someone who had white dials fitted and the garage he took it too managed to get it off (after a couple of hours) so it can be done, just not sure how.
