Waxoyl Treatment

Hi to all!,
i have taken my Stilo yesterday for 3 waxoyl treatments, underbody sealer, engine sealer and paint sealer (known as 100+), the process took only about 2 hours and the result was great, the Fiat garage have done a really good job.

Steven has donated!
It's a rust prohibitor that is sprayed on the underbody to increase rust protection.

hi there, the 3 waxoyl treatments cost me around 12 euros , the underbody is done only once, whilst the engine sealer and paint sealer is done whenever you think that the paint and engine need a good clean up or polish , it is quite worth it!, the car is protected against rust for 2 years only around the body rriggs, not the underbody or engine, but if you keep up with waxoyl treatments every year the rust warranty is obvioulsy extended.

Ok what i've learned about Waxoyl treatments from my dealer.Waxoyl treatments should be made every 2 winters and before the 3rd winter its a very good protection for the car especially in very often raining places its only protection from the water if and only if the paint has faded because the wax they use is very thick after long and often treatments the wax takes weight and falls in pieces. This was for the underneath of the car..Now for the paint should be used once a year to protect the colour it operates as an umbrella for the paint.

Sorry ewi080 - I don't generally keep any car for longer than a year so don't know much about long term care and protection....

I agree. The Stilo is a very up to date looking car - Esp the 3 door. When I look at pictures of my Jag (which I miss but could not afford to put petrol in!) the Jag does look very old indeed.

Don't know what I could go for next. The Stilo will be a difficult act to follow....
