Fiat do make front mudflaps. I have some on mine, they where about twelve quid from my local dealer, they say stilo on them, and are reasonably easy to fit. although the wheels on your car will be wider than my car so you may have to remove the wheel to do it.

Cliff,

official stilo front mudguards for all models

£15.91 - part no : 50901134 (taken from the brio book)

Hope this helps, good luck at the garage, fingers crossed the aftersales at your dealership is better than mine. Next time I go in I've decided to talk backwards whilst inhaling helium, mainly cos they dont bother to listen to what I'm telling them, so at least I can have a laugh doing it!! :p
