hi - fiat badges

im new and just posted this on the newbies page:

just got a 1.8 16v stilo dynamic my first car with some actual poke!

any opinions on the alloys (18s) or mudflaps appreciated as ive had a few comments about the wheels being chavvy and the flaps being "gay" they were both on the car when bought, i like the wheels though, its been lowered 30mm but cant tell lol

do 18s affect performance or handling much? as the cost on tyres will probably kill me aswell so i was consider going" standard" if i can find some nice ones in the local area, am i guessing the claw style arent popular?

anyway look forward to your thoughts!
as you see the back was de badged and im wondering how id go about getting a fiat badge on the back? are they technical or just stick on? ive found only grille badges on ebay - any suggestions?

thanks

Welcome, e-bay stick on job. It might come with two plastic locating pins on the back but a stanley knife will take em off.

Re: hi - fiat badges

i just re-badged my back.....with the round badge i broke of the locating pins and then used doubled up three 1mm numberplate pads (from halfords) and stuck it on....there is a very slight gap around badge where it protrudes from the car but nothing much...looks nice!

Marmite wheels, either love or hate. I'm the latter.

Re: hi - fiat badges

i think if it was realy low. and you had some nice breaks then those wheels might look quite nice. need the flaps paintin too, they are starting to look abit grey

Re: hi - fiat badges

Take the flaps off - they only look good on white cars with red flaps, or on rally cars...
