well, mines 50mm, on a 3door though, and not had any problems. except dropping off large kerbs which is obvious i geuss.
so tell me steely...is thsi going to be done/ has it been done in time for saturday?

i have lowerd my stilo and my gear box has gone.is it true that lowering you car puts stress on the bearings in the gear box.having a battle with fiat now as they wont put it rite for this reason only

i can't say i've heard much about that before but i'm no expert. More pressure is put on bearings, etc but they should be up to the job on a car the size of the Stilo.
What exactly has "gone" in your gearbox?
I assume you're still inside the warranty?

Situation improved since having a pair new front OEM springs, wouldn't do anything to upset the comfy cossetting ride mine does... if the springs snap again though, may have to look at -30 on Eibachs
