Well, I am currently working my way through the Stilo,
New front Discs & pads all round,Cam belt, Relocated overboost valve, Remap & now some new shoes Wolfrace Triad 215x45x17 Tyres.

Next stop is the suspension to close the Gap between the Tyres & arches !! Hopefully improving (& not ruining) the handling !!!

Apologies for the quality , Mobile phone Jobbie

Cheers

Tell me about it.
I parked it up the other night, Heard lots of angle grinding & bashing, Thought it was Peter next door restoring his old Triumph
Woke up & !! Two Blinkin Extra Doors !!!

I think if the Five door had smooth flush fitting handles it would make a big difference,
Here is a very quick PhotoShopee & a Closer one of the wheels.

Yes that's true & the easier option, When we get some warmer weather !!!! I may try that out, Trouble is you have to make a real good job as there is nothing more unsightly than peeling/chipping paintwork off plastics !!

Cheers

Re: New Shoes !!

Didnt like the 5 door as much as the 3 door when i first got it... but now i have totally gome off the 3 door rear... so many other manufacturers are using the same rear end in their cars...... 5 door still unique IMHO

more fun to be had in a 5 door!!!

get the door handles color-coded dont think you'll even have to take them off... just mask em'

Re: New Shoes !!

I love the badge above the fuel flap Steely, very original

Colour coding is something for next summer, got lots to do: Rub strips, bumper strips, door handles, even the wing mirrors are black! Good ol' Active base model

I may wind 5 door-ers up, but I've been looking round at getting another Stilo...5 door or MW

Re: New Shoes !!

Steely. I have noticed since fitting the lower profile tyres that it does handle a little better, Not sure if it's down to the extra rubber or less tyre wall flex, Or even both

Re your Grill, Is it painted black down the edges & then the following area down painted black also ?? , Must admit that i have thought how much meaner it looks & seems to break up the front more

Dare i ask how much you paid to get the handles colour coded ? or did you do the job yourself ??
Cheers

Dean
