| | Re: Change Headlight Blub without removing bumper Used this method last week and it worked. Found it easier by jacking the car and removing the wheel although I have to say that getting the headlight cover off and back on again was by far the hardest part. Think I'll go via the bumper removal option when I fit a HID kit. Could only find 5 screws holding the wheel arch cover on though!!!

| | Interesting and useful guide but sadly the method described in this guide didn't work for me I do have hands the size of shovels which may have limited my ability to follow this guide properly though ![]() As I write I'm mid-changing the n/s headlamp bulb (I'm on a well deserved coffee/fag/breakfast break) and have had to take the battery out and play around with all sorts of sh*te in order to get at the bulb..... always knew it would be a charlie uniform november tango of a job but what a truly awful piece of design ![]() Hope everything goes back in properly

Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Change Headlight Blub without removing bumper Thanks for the tip, Although not quite as straight foward as I thought it was going to be, Maybe because mine is a diesel ? I had an oil cooler in the way that i thought better left in place, plus the bloody battery tray is totally fouling getting the plastic cover off the back of headlight. so ended up removing a bracket fom inside the wing, I then had loads of room ! Wish I had known about this before doing the drivers side as it took me 2 hours as the spring clip from the bulb holder fell off and ended up having to use a mirror to get clip on. The Italians may make the sexiest cars but they sure don't make it easy to do a simple job like changing a bulb. Whilst I am on here, Does anyone have any good tips on making my car corner better as it is a bit all over the place. I bought a strut brace but as mine is a diesel it fouls the fuel filter so was not able to fit it. Am thinking about making my own one or perhaps lowering it a little bit, maybe 20mm as i allready foul the speed bumps.
