Change Headlight Blub without removing bumper
Guide is for front nearside headlight

Job Done

That is all there is to it! Quick and easy.

Some larger built people may need to jack up the car a bit to give more high / space in the working area around the wheel arch but try with out first.

Fiat wanted £75 to do this job, by the time you have driven to the garage you could have done the job and saved £75.

Hope this helps

Aargh, why was the Gallery used?!

YOu need to use the ATTACHMENTS facility, as per the guide to the GUIDES.

Let me sort it out in the next few days

Re: Change Headlight Blub without removing bumper

Having taken out the wash bottle when in a forest in Scotland during a snow shower and having skinned my knuckles after removing the battery to do the other side , I shall try this technique next time.

Re: Change Headlight Blub without removing bumper

I did mine in situ, without removing much at all

BUT it killed my hands haha.

Re: Change Headlight Blub without removing bumper

Used this method last week and it worked. Found it easier by jacking the car and removing the wheel although I have to say that getting the headlight cover off and back on again was by far the hardest part. Think I'll go via the bumper removal option when I fit a HID kit. Could only find 5 screws holding the wheel arch cover on though!!!
