I have had previous Seicento's with Punto GT brakes (256mm vented discs) which were brilliant. But I was wondering if anyone has ever tried the mk2 b punto HGT setup on a Seicento. I am aware they are 285mm discs and need a min of 15" wheels but are there any other issues? Cheers

We just went tried and tested Punto GT all round. It's got enough retardation to make you feel a bit sick when doing multiple accelerating and stopping to make sure they work or bedding in some Ferrodo 2500's ?

I'm sure you could fit bigger but adding more unsprung weight and probably not get much more braking power. But you never know unless you try.

Thanks for the replies, I have Punto GT discs all round on a cinq a while ago and GT on the front of the last Seicento. I have come across a pair of the mk2 b calipers and wasn't sure if they could be a bolt on or there might have been any other issues.

If they are the same 285mm brakes as a 155/145/Coupe/Bravo etc... then they wont fit. Won't bolt to the hubs, they are too big and the bolts are bigger.

Next step from Punto GT brakes would be something like Wilwoods.
