Fine tuning fiat Spider?

I have a 1981 Fiat Spider, F/I, 2.0L
When the car is on idle it sounds good, but when I start driving the car it feels like its grasping for air. Can anyone help me find the problem? I already change the spark-plug and it work fine at first then the problem came back the following day...

Thanks you in advance...

Ron J

Check that the flap inside the air flow meter is moving smoothly,
and not binding.
