Hi,
I have been offered a Spider in trade for some work. It has been is storage for a few years and so far I only know that it is green and has the common overheating coil issue. Out side of the obvious what should I ask the guy about the car?

so far I have got this information from the guy.............

I did all the body work on it and painted it but then never really put it on the road. every time I drove it the coil would overheat and i'd get stuck somewhere. I sort of gave up on it. I do that quite often with cars as I have about 30, the engine does not have that many miles, I forget how many. it ran strong when nit ran and the thing screams. quite peppy. I spent a few minutes trying to start it this fall but I was not getting any spark . it turns over nicely.
