| changeing timing belt I'm changing my timing belt and having a hard time getting the h-b pully off does anyone have a technique for doing this without taking the motor mounts off and lifting the motor to get a inpact wrench on it.

| Re: changeing timing belt I had a very hard time myself, and after trying many tools including high performance air impacts, I ended up renting a huge electric impact wrench. It took only a couple of hits to get the nut off with that monster. To even get to the nut, I had to cut out a portion of the radiator mount to get a straight shot. Here's a pic looking through the lower portion of the grill on my 82 Spider... The bottom half of that V in front of the nut was solid. That's the part I cut out. Good luck! Brandon
