Replacing Battery Cable from Trunk to Starter

I have a '79 Spider that struggles with strong enough battery for starting on cold mornings. Alternator checks out, as does battery. I suspect the main cable from Battery to Starter (original) may be partly to blame.

1. Any other thoughts before I dive in?
2. Any tips on replacement?
3. Suggested source for parts?
