| Spider as a DD? Just wondering whether or not anyone would use their spider as their daily? I'm looking to buy one in my area that "needs restoration, but runs great." Its a '79 2000. Any comments appreciated. Thanks!

| Re: Spider as a DD? You can use it as a daily driver but remember it is 29 years old and will not be as reliable as a newer car. Also, when it does need repairs, it will probably take longer to fix: most repair parts will have to be ordered or fabricated. GT

| Re: Spider as a DD? I've got a '79 2000 that I use for my daily driving. As noted, it won't be as reliable as a new car, but most of the stuff that has gone wrong with mine have been easy fixes.
