| ignition switch replacement I have purchased a new ignition switch from a fiat supplier here in Germany, and they sent me a new one, the problem is the wire colors do not match, the old one was red, pink, brown, black, blue with a black stripe and a seperate plug that has 2 white wires. The new one has yellow, blue, white, orange and red. They said that it was the right one, so can anyone help, my fiat is 1979 spider 2000 carb manual trans. Thanks alot

| Re: ignition switch replacement I just replace the switch in my '82: the new switch did not have the two separate white wires - they are for the "key in ignition" warning. Even though the wire colors were different from the original, it plugged right in and works fine. GT
