undetermined engine in a 81 Fiat Spider 2000

NEED HELP !!!!
I have just purchased a 1981 Fiat 2000 Spider. everything intact except the carburator. I have ordered one but it did not fit. To my suprize I found out the engine in this car is not a regula engine installed on 81 models. I have the follwing info on the engine;
Number on the engine casing is 2T 3040435
Number on the timing cover is 11321-28010
Have pictures of the engine can be E- mailed
Will appreciate any info leading to the engine manufacurere and [8D]correct caburator.
