total time users have been logged in

hi, they have this on the 125 biker forum i go on, it basically shows the total days, hours, minuites people have been logged on, would be fun to see although i doubt it could be backdated to when everyone signed up, Alex.

stupid stupid idea, boss will say see you been on forum ages when you should be doing work

i'm on here 10 hours a day, it gets left on while i'm at work so i bet if you did get a counter going i'd be quite high on the list...

does sound like quite a good idea though, it's also show how productive people are, say a percentage of time online compared to number of posts.

My Boss wouldnt see and if its a total time they wouldnt know how long you been on that day anyway.

Yup a 'total time' would be good, but dunno how having peeps logged in 24/7 affects server. As peeps would want to have the highest time etc.

they go inactive after so long

Not if you keep it on 'Who's Online'

Yea would be fine if they went unactive after so long, although there are many ways to refresh the page etc, and that'd put extra load on the server. Dont want it to turn into a competition if you know what i mean.. lol
