a general technical section?

Maybe it's me but LL seems the wrong place to put general technical queries that aren't specifically fiat problems but are to do with cars in general and LTF doesn't seem right either. Or am I just being silly?...

yer definatly, many times ive had this, or ive posted in cinq/sei but it associated with all cars

if its not fiat then find the forum for that make, or use ll. this is fiat forum not fiat and any other car forum

Dave, the whole point is that it's technical questions about things which are to do with any car. For example my stud conversion question, it's not fiat, Pug, etc specific it's a general technical question. To me LL doesn't seem the right place for it.

Could get complicated with people starting to put all queries in it due to it being the first thing they see?

and is it any more complicated than having discussions in an area that's specific to one car when it's not specific to any car?.. hum that isn't clear is it?!

i think were getting a bit too 'non fiat' friendly.

on a serious note, i think from a fiat point of view the setup we have now is spot on. i guess members motors would be the place to discuss non fiat cars as its not fiat specific. maybe a sub-heading in there for 'non' fiat technical queries. (then its hidden ) if we really need one. just my opinion.
