RSS Feeds

This may be the stupidest idea ever, but . . .

. . . I was on the Nokia forum yesterday, and noticed that you can subscribe to threads and receive updates by email (nothing new), but also by adding it as an RSS feed. I've done that for two threads and find it quite useful.

Don't know how plausible this is but maybe an idea for the future??

Yes it's possible - but I didn't enable it as it means people don't actually need to come to the site, thus miss out on a lot of the features / announcements etc we might have.

must admit i dont bother with RSS feeds on sites really.only one i have is an xbox one on my xbox media centre but i still visit the site.

think people would still visit ben as theres only so much you can get from a feed

I use RSS feeds on several other sites (it's very easy with Firefox), but I think the turnover rate for threads is too great here, TBH.
Plus also people often give threads names that are rubbish, so it wouldn't be very helpful.

Have you seen the new google customisable homepage? Be good to have something available to go on there..
