1970!!!

While browsing the members on this site I noticed someone (Lauren) was last on in 1970 ,think this is a mistake? Did they have the net in those days

Would it be worthwhile removing alot of people (need to rejoin) that havent visited say in the last 3 years?

Yep, any member who has at least 1 post will not be removed from the forum.

Those who have 1970 birthdates probably stem back from the Snitz days.

But does it not give a false representation of the real amount of active members on this forum?

not really - we have a stat for members and active members

Maybe, but then I think of how many forums I have joined in the past, signed up, posted one thread, and never been back....

I think over 2000 active members per month is pretty impressive

Also, I think all members who have not posted within 15 or 30 days of registering are automatically deleted.

and TBH if someone only comes on the forum when they have a problem then so be it.

I don't see why the 1970's that haven't posted couldn't be deleted - quick search shows about 1350 of them, can't see why they can't be deleted. On the other hand i don't see why they can't stay..

If you hide your online status it says you havent been on for ages anyway, so just because it says last activity is such and such doesnt neccessarily mean thats gospel
