Whoa! Easy tiger! Seeing as you're so quick to comment on my membership time, maybe you want to have a look in my profile as to when I started posting properly only recently. Infact, I'll save you the hassle of looking... http://fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=36173

Don't worry, I'm not trying to get you out of a job, this thread was only an idea. I'm really very, VERY sorry if I stepped on your toes!

Re: Regional Co-ords?

therefore reinforcing my point!

there are plenty of meets, no ones stepping on anyones toes, but look at the events that are going on, have been going on.

like i said we tried a second NW meet and not many takers.

Edit: past 12 months i have been to 5 meets and 2 stands as well as meeting up with members.

Re: Regional Co-ords?

Paintballing probably in February time - it needs to be a cold, fresh day ideally - anything else, and you sweat buckets

And before you say it would be a weekender, not everybody is interested in piss-ups (especially not if you're driving the day after). What has really happened in the North West in the past 3 months? Nothing significant I'd say. That's why I thought this thread would be a good idea. I know people can arrange their own (mini) meets but what's wrong with having something organised? I thought setting up different regions and having different "leagues" going on between them would bring a bit of variation to the club...

But if all you're going to do is bitch and shoot people down, forget I said anything...

Re: Regional Co-ords?

for me i accept that the bulk of the meets will be down south(relative to my geographical location) as thats where the bulk of the members are
i would travel down for a meet(lol once i get the cinq turbo running as it should)
organising meets is always a tricky thing due to everyones priorities and commitments. anyone can organise a mini meet.hell we had a micromini meet of 3 in edinburgh(thats 2 plus me )

Re: Regional Co-ords?

Like i said i did try and organise something for june/july august so infact it was potentially for the last few months... if people arent interested i cant help that, who's bitching?

My point it your missing the point here, A MEET WAS ORGANISED FOR THE NORTH WEST BUT THERE WASNT ANY INTEREST! is that more clear

The forum has plenty of things going on, I dont really see whats stopping people from organising a mini meet.

BTW its a forum not a club

If there was more interest then more meets would be organised, but there wont be anything official until early next year and see where we go from there.

Meets arent about piss ups. weekenders are good becuase people can chose either day or stay whole weekend. Last NW meet, we just had a meal in the evening and had a get together in gaz's room, some drank but it was all about the cakes
