i think it sounds like a good idea. maybe use nearest city or county? a map would be great, shame we cant use something like that new google earth! or could we???

It wasn't knocked on the head, it was shelved until the new version of vbulletin came out, which is still hasn't. This is also why nothing else has been added recently, the old mods won;t work with the new version.

The way I will probably do it is with postcodes (first half) - I can then plot a live map, though not sure what scale to do it to.... maybe do a "enter your postcode" and it finds everyone within X miles of you....

I can put my rochdale postcode and oswestry postcode in cos can make a meet in either region.
