How about a site?

Ok so fiat forum is just that, a forum, but how about a propper site, and then the forum as a section?

So what would we include on this site - Classifieds, Arcade section, Photo Gallery, Chat section

This is the best Fiat site around. The forum is the main part, but have a look at the rest.

we add more on the site as we need it, but with it being called fiatforum.com, then would be good to use this site mainly as a forum

I cant see what you'd put on a 'site' that isn't on the 'forum'...

Maybe Luciel mean't a site like overclockers.com were there is a front end that contains loads of information and articles, then the forums.

I've only just taken a interest in Fiats and looking round the net, couldn't find too much, just this (mighty fine) forum and BOO.

BOO contains some good info and articles, but the forum layout IMHO sucks, this has a good forum, maybe Luciel meant it would be nice if all the info and more was in one place.

Just my thoughts, not a knock at anyones hard work.

Then it wouldnt be 'fiatforum' it would be 'fiatsitewithaforum'

exaclty, we do appreicate what people are saying but at the end of the day its a forum, if you want info then we'll give it best we can.

in the coupe section where i moderate, i put what info i can in there, with reviews and info etc.

this place isnt bad at all, it offers more than a forum, as stu said, classifieds, arcade, chat, gallery.

its just upto members what goes on the forum, all important info is stickied so its available no probs

As you know this used to be fiatcentral (and to an extent, still is), but there was a decision to change it to fiatforum. I am guessing there was some thought put into the idea of a front page to this site, and it was decided against.

change it back to fiatforum that is

it was fiatforum , then fiatcentral and now back to fiatforum

fiatcentral just doesnt roll off the tongue and i already had lots of fiatforum stickers made up

from what i remember there was also talk of calling it fiatjunkie

it would be nice to have a front page to the forum though

probably the longer term members are more used to the old active posts page so were never on the main page of the forum anyway
