So on Facebook and Tumblr you can use J, K and L to scroll down, up and like posts. Can we implement something similar here? Just to make it a bit easier when reading long threads and because I'm lazy and keyboards are awesome

Dunno how like would work, how would it know which post you are wanting to like?

Well each post has that "Permalink" thing, so each press of J would go to the next Permalink, each press of K would go back one. The permalink would then be in the address bar so I'd have thought that'd be a pretty easy way to identify which post to Like
