Has the "cry" smiley always looked like that?! I think the gif should be modified so that it's just the tears that are animated (which I'm happy to do if it helps - I don't want to seem like a whinger who's not prepared to help).
I'm getting the same problem as the OP, but it's not a .gif issue as it only happened after I reinstalled windows/Firefox. The whole head fades and re-appears, it's difficult to explain ...
OK, so this looks fine at home using Chrome. When I was at work using Firefox, the face would flash up, then as the tears rained down, the face would disappear from the top down at the same rate as the tears were falling?! Looked really weird and buggy. All the other smileys were fine though?
I guess I just have to put up with it when I'm at work. <-

Perhaps somebody realised their mistake, but wanted to avoid turning the "embarrassed" icons to "shocked" icons across the forum. e.g. "You were right, and I was wrong :shock:" changes the meaning! lol!
