Tuning Section

I suggested a while back lets have a tuning section, lets be honest they are the subject of alot of posts so would easily warrant a section.

Re: Tuning Section

What do you consider as tuning?

What I mean is what would it include?

And how do you prevent questions of how someone gets a 20v Coupe engine in Cinquecento etc.?

I originally thought that the sections that have technical and styling sections where just showing threads from the main section that had been sort of orgainised/filed.

so everything goes into the Punto section but then you can narrow down the results by going into technical or styling.

would that not make sense?

Re: Tuning Section

I suppose i would be quite handy as you can learn more from different car owners as often many people only post in the section of the car they own so it may get more of a cross section of people discussing things.

The first thing that i would post is why does the Stilo 1.6 GSR induction kit sit where it does is it just because of ease of mounting or is there a more technical reason to this.
As an unacknowledged sort of chappy i would have put it at the top near the grill where it can suck air from the original scoop hole where air would be thrust straight down into the filter.

The length of the hose is as important as its diameters..just like an exhaust system is tuned to the engine by length and diameters..Also there is to much hot air at the top of the engine while at the bottom the air is colder..
