Dates in the Uno section title need fixing!

Hello (not sure who reads this... Ben?)

As witnessed by http://www.fiatforum.com/uno/111670-new-uno-sa.html
The dates for the Uno section clearly need fixing!

Currently it says 1983-1995. We have quite a lot of visitors/regulars (particularly those from India or South Africa) who have '97 or later Unos...

Cheers,
-Alex

Re: Dates in the Uno section title need fixing!

Almost four months on and I see this post:

http://www.fiatforum.com/uno/124115-...ing-radio.html

Again, do you think it might be an idea to change the dates?

Cheers,
-Alex

Re: Dates in the Uno section title need fixing!

still in production in brazil

in SA, it was previously called the nissan uno, but in 2007 fiat took it back and it is now the fiat uno again (and they have the uno way for rough roads). these are all brazilian made uno's.

in brazil it is still the fiat mille and fiat mille way, but everyone knows its just a rebadged uno. they are still in production.

i dont know if they are sold anywhere else.

I'm sure you see the reasoning - although we (in the UK and NZ) can't help with some details of the latest models, at least owners of newer Unos might be encouraged to visit the forum and therefore share their knowledge.

I think the official name in Brazil still "Fiat Uno Mille Fire Flex", but the brazilian uno have some diferences, since the production start in the 80's (84), the rear suspension is diferent and the hood is a bit higher, also the restylings where different...

some brazilian unos:
1987 Uno 1.5r

1991 uno mille (999cm3 engine)

1992 Uno 1.6r (with the first restyling)

2001 uno mille fire

Current Uno mille fire flex:

Way is offered as a factory option.
