:mad:Hi I have just purchased a Sedici 1.9 multi jet diesel dynamic 09 plate 56k on the clock
It is juddering / spluttering at 2000 revs and then when you change up to the next gear it is fine .It is often in 3rd gear when it happens I have also notice air con makes the juddering worse

Other issue oil light flashing for a bout 2 mins then goes off

Many thanks

Hi
Juddering will be egr sticking, just buy a blanking plate and that will be sorted.
Oil light is a countdown timer , it needs resetting but fiat will charge around £50 .
I've just had mine reset buy a alfa/fiat specialist not a dealer and they charged me £10
Regards Stephen

Hi I have sorted the oil light coming on by being reset it through a dealer and is now not coming on which is great thank you for your advise
With reference to the slight spluttering A Fiat dealer has pluged the car into their computer for a diagnosis and they informed me that no faults showingThey said they couldn't find anything wrong with it !!
They also said they checked the EGR and it was was fine However the car is still occasionally spluttering mainly up hill when the engine is hot and just before changing gear Does it still need a blanking plate or could it be something else ie fuel filter ? The car doesn't loose power but it feels like you are slightly taking your foot off the accelerater for a slit second
I don't want to take it to the dealer as it will probably cost an arm and a leg for further investigations
Any further advise ?

Very best wishes

Did you manage to correct the judder, mine has a slight judder sometimes more noticeable when cold

Hi it's in the garage the engine transmission like came on and it looks like it's the EGR which is now being replaced via diagnosis

It was in the garage the diagnosis didn't register any faults and then after having the car back a few days later the engine transmission light came on as well as losing power and the occasional spluter
It's back in the garage now they have informed me it's the EGR and they are replacing this whilst I'm on holiday
Hopefully this will rectify the engine transmission light the spluter and lack of power

I had something similar happen on mine I bought it from an ignorant ebay dealer who sold it to me with a faulty temp sensor it was running to cold and I think the pf couldn't cycle the garage put a new sensor in and it runs great now shoeing correct temp not just 1 bar on gauge

Hi I now have the car back from the garage the EGR valve has been replaced and fingers crossed the car is now working as normal

Thank you all for your advise
