Hi
I am after a little info.
I've seen a lot of posts on the fiat forum and other forums as well about the gunk that builds up in the intake manifold on the 1.9 multijet engines fitted in fiats ,alfas , vauxhalls etc.
So any way my question is is it possible to remove the manifold to clean it without removing the timing belt and plate behind the HP pump pulley.
Now I know that the HP injector pump can be removed with the timing belt and pulley left in place as I've done that before. In case your wondering how there are two bolt holes behind the pulley so you can line up two holes in the pulley and put two bolts in to hold it in place while the pump is removed.
but I am wondering if there are any bolts into the manifold holding the plate on behind the pulley ?
Hope all this makes sense.
Regards Stephen.
