My wife has a 56 plate Sedici 1.6 Eleganza, last week the Malfunction Indicator Light came on. I've borrowed an OBD2 code reader and there is only one error code showing "P0031 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1) ".
I've Googled this and found.....The code means that there is a problem with the heater element circuit of the heated oxygen sensor. Water getting inside the heated oxygen sensor connector can caused the heated oxygen sensor fuse to blow, which is a very common problem for this type codes. Before replacing the sensor, check for the condition of the heated oxygen sensor fuse and connectors.
I'd like to check the fuse first but I'm having difficulty locating it, the Sedici handbook has a pretty good description of all fuses and locations but it is not clear which, if any, this one is. Can anyone tell me where the heated oxygen fuse is located or if it has a different name in the Fiat Sedici handbook?
Many thanks.
