Just bought my other half a Sedici diesel (traded in the Punto) - it's actually very nice, well screwed together (thanks Suzuki), and she loves it, but the headlights are crap. Are there any upgraded headlight units or maybe better bulbs available for this vehicle?

Will probably spend half the winter stealing it for myself thanks to the switchable 4WD..... :)

TIA

… are the bulbs easy to fit?

( My Ka was a nightmare ! )

I couldn't get them fitted, but I'm pretty much useless with cars. Ended up getting a friend to do it.....

Anything over 55 w is illegal, and in any event they tend to blow regularly. I am surprised the forum ranters have not emerged on this topic, perhaps they are at Specsavers.

Disagree; considerably less dangerous than being unable to see where you are going and, providing you keep the height adjuster on low, NOT inconsiderate to other road users. The standard lights on the Marea are appalling even with the best (legal) H1 bulbs......
The Marea has passed 4 MOTS with the HID's fitted........
Try driving in horizontal welsh rain with the standard Marea lights and you might get some idea of the problem........
The Sedici lights are just about acceptable with the best (legal) bulbs but nowhere near as good as the lights on my MK1 Punto fitted with GT headlights (twin H1's and the best (legal) bulbs I could find) but the lights on my wife's old Tigra are even better.
Perhaps it never gets dark in Italy......

I must support Most Easterly Pandas on this one. To be fair, the company in question selling this conversion kit states in their FAQs that they are not E marked and therefore not street legal in the UK. I believe this would bring your insurance cover into question if you're involved in a prang. And what about a roadside spot check if you were to dazzle the old bill at night They also state that they are easily swopped back to halogens at MOT time
Laugh, I nearly shat.

mmm......
I thought the purpose of this forum was to provide helpful advice to fellow Fiat users. Such advice requires intelligence and knowledge. Abuse and personal criticism require neither.
Presumably my detractors have NEVER done anything illegal. What a lot of goody two-shoes!
Factory fitted Xenon lights automatically adjust to the load (and therefore pitch) of the car. When I fitted my HID's I also fitted a self-adjuster to do this. This is why it has passed MOT's (at different MOT stations).
It is difficult to imagine how someone can laugh until they defaecate when they are stuck so far up their own anus........

Car to share the self levelling kit you fitted then so others can use the same kit?

What I was chuckling at was the company trying to get you to buy their HIDs but then advising the purchaser to swap back to halogens for the MOT.
