Hoping to fit a CD Changer to my new Sedici, does anyone know if they come pre-wired and if so where is cable located? ( had a look around boot no sign of any).
If not pre-wired how do you remove head unit from dash?

Hello to everyone! I'm new to this forum.
I'm picking up an ex-demo sedici 1.9 eleganza next saturday after test driving one! The first thing I am going to do is fit my own stereo in place of the factory fit jobby. I've see the accessory facia adapter and it looks to be secured each side by either 4 or 6 screws that are then covered by the silver trims.
Do a search for this company who sell the adapters..
justkenwood

I'm pretty good at fitting stereo's and figuring out how bit's come apart so as soon as I do I'll let you know!
Assuming i'm successful or course!!

Cheers :slayer:

Well I changed the factory fit stereo for kenwood.
Easy job. The secret is to access the screws behind the two silver trims which can be carefully pryed off towards you if you insert a screwdriver down the inside edges of the trim roughly (mid way down).
Do not insert on the outside edges nearest the footwells. The trims are plastic covered with a light crome paint and can be damaged easily.
Take your time and when you can use your fingers when there is enough of the trim levered out.
Once the trim is off the rest is easy.

BTW - there was another socket on the back of the factory fit stereo which I reckon was probably for the optional cd changer.
Biggest pain was getting the Kenwood steering wheel control adapter which took a month to arrive from back order.
Sorry there is no pics - not allowed to yet under house rules!

oh - adding to this you need to keep the original cage for the factory fit stereo and re-use it! You will see what I mean when you get it out.
