Hi
I'm posting this here as I've had no joy in the Doblo section:
Intermittently recently I've been getting the door open light on the dashboard, I'm pretty confident it's caused by the back door (2 door type) as previously I would slam it and the light would go out, not tonight, its on the drive with the doors locked with the key apart from the driver and passenger door as this triggers the central locking.
When I lock the van it automatically un locks as it thinks the door is open, is there anything I should look for, it's a 2007 model multijet and I sprayed the latch's with wd40 in the hope it would clean the catch connection but no joy
I have since removed the central locking fuse and I lock the doors manually but I miss my central locking and would like it back, I spoke to a couple of people, 1 person said the switch / sensor for the rear doors are in the catches (top and bottom) and the other said its in the lock mechanism, not the barrel or handle but the lock mechanism - I assume this will make more sense once I get it apart.
There is nothing actually wrong with the lock, it works fine with just the key but the door open light is always on the dash
Thanks
Found this
So would I need a replacement bottom catch?

I think its built into the lower catch on the larger of the two rear doors
So would I need a replacement bottom catch?
