I bought a microscan alarm (£55) and microscan 4 door cenral locking kit (£55).

The cenral locking kit was easy to fit, no problems.

Then came the alarm![:0]

I fitted it in place. You have to connect a wire to bonnet switch, left indicator circuit, right indicator circuit, 2 wires to central locking kit and one to "fuse protecting the interior light".

Indicator circuits = fine
bonnet switch = fine

wires to central locking = i dunno what one goes to what (cenral locking has brown and white wire, alarm has blue and green wire. Which wire goes to which?)

Wire to fuse = well i connected it to the fuse by jamming it in with the fuse (yer i know, sounds stupid).

When i tested it, i couldnt program my remote and now, some times when i indicate right, the alarm chirps.

Why does the power wire need to be connected to the fuse protecting the interior light?

If anyone can help at all, then thanks

To try and test which wire goes to the central locking, use one of those screwdriver thnigys with the bulb inside it.
Connect one end to the car so it earths and the other to one of the central locking wires.
Try and lock your doors, if the bulb flashes you have the positive wire for the central locking, so the positive wire from the alarm should connect to this.

Power wire to the interior light could be for the alarm to sense when a theif opens the door so the alarm goes off, or to power the alarm.

Does this mean i'm amazing??? :D:D

It were proper Bo i tell thee!!
