Exclamation remote start prob.

hi,i got an alarm inported and had it fitted by a mate,every thing is fine apart from the remote start.it is amk2 punto and cos it is key coded it wont start the alarm has key code bypass wire but i carnt find the imoberliser and dont know if it has a line in can any one help me please?,i looked in the haynes manual but it just tells you what it is.any help will be great.thanks.

is the immob not part of the ECU.if thats the case you would need to get it removed/bypassed as it works by an induction loop around the ignition barrel
