Would like to install remote central locking in my wife's 2003 Punto Active 1.2. Looked into alarm, but just want remote locking. Car already has central locking, by want to make it remote. Have seen and read about the relay you can add to MK1 punto, is there anything similar for the MK3. Thanks

Meta do a dedicated punto kit,plugs into original wiring but there is 3 wires to connect aswell but its easy.100% reliable never had a problem with one ever If getting it through dealer there should be no more than hours labour max!

for mk.3 i would use fiat after market 1 instructions on fitting are in the kit and it is not hard to fit but forget the color codes and use the pin out numbers to the letter as for the mk. 1 mane non fiat ones around

Take it your talking about the meta kit 'fiattech'? Fits under steering wheel ecu,multiplug from locking module replace one at front of body computer and 3 wires to back of body computer.

I wana do the same. 3 door mark 3 punto. gt an alarm n remote central locking. any ideas how to fit it??!!

I know this thread is old but i have just had a mk3 (2005) punto with central locking - key operated and i would like to make it remote operated.

I once installed a new relay on an mk1 punto i used to own, is it the same installation for a mk3? and if so where can i find the rely can anyone find a suitable one on say on google?, i can't find anything on ebay.
