can someone help me install an aftermarket alarm?!

I bought this alarm (a PLC vs-968) for around £10, but back then had a polo which seems impossible to fit for me as im a novice and something to do with the vacum pump, i got my punto, and I think this should be much easier! but still tricky for me!

I found this post but didn't really help

where-do-i-post/6209-car-alarm-help.html
on the estima owners club website, i cant post urls yet...!

that is my alarm and has images of instructions etc! I thought I could just install the door sensors and central locking but realised after a minute with the engine switched off and doors closed, they lock... this will be rather annoying if i don't connect it up to the ignition etc... so unfortunately dont think i can miss it out!

I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give!! particularly to the "key on" and "engine locking" bits!
