Buy a 60 pound alarm and someone will bypass your alarm in 2 mins.

A good one will slow them down and is more likely to put them of your car if there is another car with a cheap alarm that will be easier for them to bypass.

Or they'll just get a car without an alarm. TBH they'll just put the car onto a low loader if they want it that much.

Re: Should i buy a Clifford Cat 1

Tilt is obvious, if the car detects the car being lifted up it does off. Shock is if someone hits it without breaking anything then it goes off.

Thats what I was thinking, but even my shock sensor would detect the car being moved up or down so I can't see why you'd need a tilt switch

Jon.

Hi Mate you can jack up a car without a shock sensor triggering and if wheels have no locking nuts you can loose wheels

Seen it done mate if you set shock sensor up to high you will have false alarms

Regards Ian
