Plz Plz Plz sum1 help and advise

This morning i came out to my car (fiat punto 1.2 16v 2003 reg) only to discover that some scumbags had broken into my car through my passenger side door lock. This isn't the first time its happened they did exactly the same a couple of months ago in a different area and managed to get of wif my parcel shelf and speakers but luckily not much damage .... HOWEVER ......
This time they have made an even bigger hole in the lock and jammed something into it but luckily it does still lock, i'm not very good with cars so don't really know how to explain properly what it looks like but they have also ripped the door panels and sides of the inside of my car and this is what i don't understand !! Would these thieves have wanted my door cards for some reason or have they just done this for no reason other than vandalism? Also are these cars easy to break into as this is the 2nd time its happened and i'm pretty annoyed (to put it politly) as i had absolutly nothin of any value in my car as since the 1st attempt i take everythin out with me.

smoot the locks and get a decent alarm
get keyless entry lol
wire up some central lockin solenoids to the alarm and your sorted thats what im doing

true! also, no handles, no easy points of entry for theives!

Hey, Might have been looking if theres anymore speakers hidden away in ur door panels.

i do agree with unonumero, if ur locks keep getting tampered with, delock it, best time is probs now since you maybe thinking of replacing them.
however, dont get the handles taken off, as this is a MOT failure straight away,

Neway, maybe need to rethink where its parked if you can! where is ur car left? and you need to think of purchasing an alarm asap! or any sort of deterrent! Or they will probs be back after more!

F***in TWOCers the door cards have they just ripped them off or have they been taken off nicely could have been a steal to order or jus lookin for speakers, y they break into cars with nothin in them i dont know. If i was to break into a car i wuld choose a Boy Racer of a BMW not a punto spose if they were intelligent then they wuldnt need to break into cars.

Sorry to hear about your car. i remember when it happened to me so i know how you feel. i would do as prompted before and get a good alarm and keyless entry, i would also tint the windows because if they get smashed then all the glass sticks and it is a pain in the backside for thieves.

If the windows get tinted then theives may think its because you have something to hide. so that may not be the best option!

Not if you get a very light/clear film/tint they will still be able to see inside.

Get a chav sensing sentry gun
