Hi everyone, my wife noticed my scudo 1.6 multijet 2007 has no reversing lights working. I replaced the bulbs but no joy. When I took off the bulb housing there was a load of water inside. I have emptied and dried it out also. I'm thinking it's a fuse but can find any diagrams that show me which fuse would be for the reversing lights. Any advice would be grateful. Thankyou. Les

hi,

or maybe the water is just coincidental..if other lights still work,
I'd look at the switch on the gearbox,

Not sure if it helps, if a bulb blows the car shuts down power to that cirxuit my reverse light blew and wouldn't come back on even with a new bulb once batterybwas reconnected it worked great

I'll check that too thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Regards les

Just an update i have disconnected the battery for a while and tried it again but no reverse lights. Also checked the earth which is ok. Next i was trying to locate the switch on the gearbox and noticed a connector hanging loose. It has two wires to the connector, black and earth. I think it's supposed to be connected to the gear switch? When i have more time I'm going to have a good look and update how it's goes. Thanks for everyone's input.

Hi just to let everyone know who helped . It was a loose wire on the reverse light switch on the engine. I checked it and it was loose and the inside of the connector was covered in oil. I cleaned it up. A bit of tape to secure and snapped it back in place lights on! Great. Gear switch for anyone with same problem. You were right Charlie thanks
