Evening all, have a 09 2.0 Scudo that has just the one key/remote fob. Anyone know the procedure for having a replica supplied? It works fine but would like to have a spare. Cheers, McNish.

Hi,:)
a genuine from FIAT Dealer is major money..,
cheaper to get a used one rebuilt and coded to your vehicle.. either way you'll probably need a CODE for the body computer

where are you based..??

Am near Evesham. My first vehicle with modern tech, am a bit lost with that. Thank you for your reply.

Hi A bog standard key from Fiat will cost at least £265.You could try a mobile engineer. I got a standard key from Auto-Recode(part of EAC group) located in Telford. I had to take the car there. They put a probe in the lock to get the relevant codes and then make the key. It's not a remote but it unlocks the doors and runs the engine. Cost £70.

thank you very much for the input/information, regards McNish

Place in Peterborough does it very cheap
Scans the key and cuts a new one
£30 I think

thanks for the reply. I'm guessing that for that price Timpsons did a key cut and no fob?
