Hi. I parked up my Scudo 2.0 JTD 2 weeks ago having used it regularly but now the fuel pump will not run and the double relay will not power up. I opened the relay and all looks ok. I connected a fault code reader but it cannot communicate with the ecu. Any ideas?

got the same problem as you mate changed double relay glowplug relay nothing
no glowplug light also
took apart double relay pushed one of the connectors and this fired the pump and the glowpug relay but wont do this by key
got a auto electrition coming out monday so ill let you know what he says

Hi I would be very interested to hear the outcome. I found the same thing with the double relay by manually triggering it but my fuel pump would not fire up at the same time. If I had any hair I would tear it out

hi,your problem sounds the same as mine.
Tried the AA guys who could not get it started,it would crank but not start.
Told me it was the high pressure fuel pump that needed replaced.
Turns out the fuel reset button needed pressed and van fired up right away.
This will happen if you have a fuel leak or a bump in the van,but was also told this could happen if you have a meeting with a large pot hole in the road.
It's the red button in the engine bay below windscreen on drivers side.
hope this helps.

Hi there. Thanks for that. Ended up bridging the terminals but still nothing. AA guy gave up as he could not get a connection to the ecu.

Hi Redfester. Did you get anywhere with the Scudo problem. I tried an auto electrican but he got nowhere

Have u tried transponder ring around ignition barrel, these sometimes move and cause van not to start try moving this when turning key, also check connections on it,

Hi Charlie. I have the red STOP flashing light plus the 3 underneath and a red light o the temp gauge. No glowplug light. Engine cranks fine.

Hi Charlie. Not sure what you mean. I only had 2 ignition keys when I bought the van. No separate immobiliser fob. I have noticed that there is another led on the lower dash which will flash various sequences if I repeatedly turn the ignition on and off. This light has never been on previously
