Very good! Im thinking of the same idea for my van . The plan is to keep everything modular and removable . I dont have windows but i was considering putting some in the roof to keep it covert .

That's the same plan for me I want everything to be easy in and out as i use the van for many things 9 seater mini bus I also use it as a van with seats removed so need to find the best way to attach the furniture I have got anchor points on the floor so could use them the over all plan is stealth standard van on the outside camper within so I can travel and park up anywhere urban camping ?

I've just bought a Scudo Panorama '09 with the same intention - the stealth camper. I have many decisions to make so will start with a few questions:
1. Any idea about an ideal leisure battery charge control unit/kit?
2. Is it possible to make the front passenger seat swivel backwards?
3. Would it be practical/useful to improve insulation behind the existing roof, sidewall, door and tailgate lining panels.
4. Does anyone sell window reflective covers that can be easily installed for total blackout when stealth camping?
More to follow. Any advice about these issues or other camper-conversion issues gratefully received

PS to my earlier post:
What is the exact legal position for urban (or rural) camping. Is it legal to sleep in a vehicle anywhere where it is legal to park? How about in a highway Lay-by? Is it legal for a farmer or other landowner to give permission to random campers (illegal in France I know)?
Campsites seem overpriced generally but one I know only charged us £5 per person per night - Palmers near TonbridgeWells. No facilities except a water standpipe and rather unpleasant chemical toilet - but nice woods to crap in and collect wood for fires (permitted) - all quite delightfully hippyesque.

Hi, Is anyone still around in this thread?

I'm about to start a very similar conversion, and would love some advice.
