Anybody know which cd changer is a straight fit for the standard CD player , 2005

You mean? Change the single din to a double din with integrated cd changer? Might be better to get a separate changer for the back and run cables to and from it.

Or move away from cd totally ;)

Finding any CD changer will be a challenge. So many radios don't even come with a single CD any more, as we're all supposed to use a memory stick with mp3 files. Personally, I don't see why I should accept lost quality from compressed files, but finding an aftermarket radio that will read uncompressed WMA files is difficult too. Although a lot of OE fitments do.

If the original CD changer is the 5-disc Blaupunkt unit, talk to these guys: http://www.mapleaudio.co.uk/
They repaired mine a while ago. The Blaupunkt unit does wear out, and these guys know which bits to replace.

Err CDs are compressed...

As for WMA why would anyone want to focus on a WMA? WMA is windows media audio - hardly anything will run native off that. It's all but dead if you want a decent uncompressed file there are loads of options just look for a flac car stereo. Little to No compression at all.
